It’s official! Rad Power Bikes, Cascade Bicycle Club and hundreds of Seattle cyclists now hold the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for most ebikes on a single ride. It all started in September 2018, when 405 people jumped on their ebikes for a two-mile group ride around Seattle’s Magnuson Park. After reviewing dozens of photos, videos, registration forms, and witness statements as part of a thorough evaluation process, Guinness judges confirmed Monday that we officially surpassed the previous record of 271 ebikes.
“This event was an incredible display of our community’s passion and enthusiasm for ebikes, which has continued to grow since the group ride,” Ty Collins, Rad Power Bike’s Co-Founder and CMO, said in a statement. “It’s not every day that you get to set a world record, so we’re really proud of this achievement and the work that everyone put into the process.”
We’re also proud to count ourselves among a long list of cycling luminaries who’ve set records of their own.
