Basic Chain Cleaning | Rad Tech

Rad Power Bikes provides a basic guide to cleaning your bike chain.

“Rad Tech” is a step-by-step, technical, how-to video series that empowers Rad Power Bikes owners to take basic assembly, maintenance, and minor ebike repair into their own hands.

In this edition, we show you a basic technique to clean your bike chain -- something that should be done regularly to keep your drivetrain working and to extend the lifetime of your bike.

Remember: Rain, grime, and rock salt can damage your chain over time. That's why it’s especially important to keep it well-maintained as the seasons change.

As always, consult your owner's manual or our help center for more complete info, and feel free to contact our product support team directly if you need to talk through your ebike issues with one of our Seattle-based team members.
