TIME just released its first-ever TIME100 Most Influential Companies, a new list that highlights 100 businesses making an extraordinary impact around the world.

Rad Power Bikes earned a place in the Pioneer category, an acknowledgement of the role we've played leading the U.S. ebike market during a period of unprecedented growth — and scaling up to meet that challenge.

To assemble the list, an expansion of the annual TIME100 franchise, TIME solicited nominations across every sector—including health care, entertainment, transportation, technology, and more—from its global network of editors and correspondents, as well as from industry experts. Each company was then evaluated on key factors, including relevance, impact, innovation, leadership, ambition and success.

Rad Power Bikes has award-winning ebikes designed for any adventure. Find the perfect one for you with our ebike finder.

TIME recognized Rad Power Bikes for nearly tripling sales between April 2019 and 2020, securing an additional $150 million in funding, and laying the groundwork for a larger staff, more mobile service options, and a fourth brick and mortar store.

And our level of influence isn't just based in what we've done to grow as a company. We're fortunate to have more than 250,000 riders in over 30 countries demonstrating the life-changing benefits of ebikes within their own communities.

"The passionate team at Rad Power Bikes has gone all-in with our enthusiastic customers to create a future where transportation is energy-efficient, enjoyable, and accessible to all," Mike Radenbaugh, Founder and CEO of Rad Power Bikes, said. "We’re thrilled to see TIME recognize our influential role in democratizing electric vehicles and it’s only just the start. The long-term benefits for the environment, infrastructure, accessibility, and public health are still taking shape."

"It’s safe to say the future’s looking Rad," he added.
